Olympia, WA – January 20th, 2018 – Fish Brewing Co is gearing up for the special release of their World-Famous Imperial Stout, Poseidon. Poseidon has not been released since 2005. Named after the Greek god of Sea and water, Poseidon is an award-winning Imperial Stout of Olympian distinction.
A heavily roasted flavor that includes dark cocoa and hints of peat smoke are its full-bodied landmark. Barrel aged over 18 months in Bourbon and Cabernet Sauvignon barrels, from Silver Lake Winery, this noble tonic is born of Northwest Pale Ale malt, plus chocolate, caramel, peated malts, and Northwest hops. Poseidon possesses a robust dry nuttiness, gentle oak finish, bourbon and vanilla flavors, and hints of red wine. Enjoy with chocolate and dessert!
